Inca
Inca is the
third biggest city of Mallorca. Principally a centre of the mallorquin
Leather-Industry Inca's interest for the tourist seems limited at first glance, even though the city's roots can be traced back to the days of the Roman governance.
We did not find too many sights worth visiting on our trip to Inca (which was of course far too short to tell for sure). The places we would have loved to see (but missed) are the Cloisters
Sant Domenec with its praised chapel and
Sant Francesc with its famous archway. In the north you find a third cloister,
Sant Bartomeu with a renowned belfry.
In the vicinity of the city-centre you find the Church Santa Maria Major.
